The goal was to design an experience in a semi-autonomous vehicle for the 2020 that would find new ways of interaction with the existing ADAS Ford technologies, and also, to consider an innovation with the Human Machine Interface.



SYNC IOV proposes the next version of the infotainment system for Ford and Lincoln.
Through Big Data, the system will know the behavioral patterns of the user by a daily tracking from his/her smartphone.
When the user enters to his vehicle, the device will sync with the infotainment system. As a result, it will suggest the existing ADAS technologies according to conducts, and it will also explain the ones that are forgotten or unknown.

It is all about creating the right strategy for the user. My current work enables me to learn from the conducts and feedback
of the users, internal clients and automotive trends in order to develop the correct HMI inside a vehicle.

With the right analysis of the user studies, I create interactive wireframes for the design of prototype systems.
Followed by drafts of all the screens which the user will interact with.
Which are the main components I manage?
Cluster, Infotainment, HUD, Rear EFP


Then comes the real approach, where graphics, animations and coding are part of a cycle of iterations in order to create the desired experience.
As a result, prototypes are tested inside simulators or inside vehicles in order to assure the right interaction.
